Living in Scarborough and as property professionals Neil and I discovered a gap in the local networking scene. Fuelled by the need for a more localised platform, we decided to create WIN B2B in Scarborough.
Since its inception, WIN has not only become a vital hub for small businesses, entrepreneurs & property professionals but has also expanded its business-to-business reach to Whitby this year, with plans underway for a third group in York next year.
Neil and I, both deeply involved in the property industry, found ourselves longing for a local space to connect with like-minded individuals. We recognised the absence of dedicated property networking events along the Yorkshire coast, forcing professionals to travel to Hull, York, or Darlington for such opportunities. Determined to fill this void, we set out to create a networking community that caters specifically to the unique needs of landlords and property experts in the region.

One of the standout features of WIN Property is its commitment to being different. In a landscape where networking events often come with a price tag, we made the decision that networking should be free. We believe this ethos not only sets us apart from other networking groups but also aligns with our vision of fostering a supportive community for property professionals without financial barriers.

The decision to offer free entry to WIN Property events is just the beginning. Attendees not only enjoy complimentary access to valuable networking opportunities but are also treated to a free drink and delicious food. This added touch of hospitality, I believe, reflects our genuine desire to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, where connections can be forged over shared experiences and a sense of community.

The success of WIN B2B in Scarborough and its recent expansion to Whitby attest to the growing demand for localised networking opportunities. Professionals in the area no longer need to trek to distant cities for industry connections; WIN Property brings the networking experience to their doorstep.

The response from the local community has been overwhelmingly positive, with members expressing gratitude for the chance to connect with peers and expand their professional circles within the familiar surroundings of their coastal home.

Visitors like Lauren & Ian say:
“Although we have been investing in property for a number of years Scarborough is a completely new investment area for us and finding the WIN networking group has been an absolute godsend.
Being able to tap into somebody else’s contacts and knowledge of the area has saved us a lot of time and hassle and enabled us to crack on with our latest project.
We cannot thank Sarah and Neil enough for how welcoming they have been and how open they are to sharing their experiences, both good and bad which makes a refreshing change.
The guest speakers provide a valuable insight into a wide range of topics and we have already formed working relationships with a number of them along with fellow attendees.
We look forward to attending many more networking events where we can chat all things property and keep pushing each other forward and the added bonus is it’s free.
Thanks again guys. You’re doing an amazing job.”

As WIN Property continues to thrive, plans are in motion to launch a third B2B group in York, further expanding the network's reach and impact. The decision to establish a presence in York reflects our commitment to making property & business networking accessible to professionals across the region, ensuring that no one is left without a local platform to connect, share insights, and build meaningful relationships within the industry.
In conclusion, WIN Property Networking has emerged as a beacon for property professionals along the Yorkshire coast, providing a much-needed local alternative to networking events in larger cities. Offering free entry, coupled with complimentary drinks and food, has transformed WIN Property into a welcoming and inclusive community. With plans to extend our reach to York, the network is poised to become an even more influential force, connecting property enthusiasts, and fostering collaboration across the region.

As WIN Property continues to grow, it stands as a testament to the power of local initiatives in creating valuable connections and opportunities for professionals in specialised industries.
